About Page County

Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Massanutten Mountains in Virginia’s fabled Shenandoah Valley, the families of Page County developed a heritage of independence, self-reliance, and community which is still evident today. A high-quality education system, an inexpensive cost of living and doing business; friendly, quiet community, and scenic, unspoiled environment are just a few of the qualities that make Page County an ideal place to visit, live and do business. Page County, like others across our state and country, has its share of challenges relating to the ever-growing drug crisis. The Page County Sheriff’s Department, Office of Emergency Management, Luray Police Department, city and school officials are all working together to provide education, resources, and solutions to solve this ongoing challenge. The drug crisis impacts every person in Page County either directly or indirectly. Law enforcement, emergency responders, financial and personnel resources, our healthcare system and citizens alike are all impacted by the effects of drugs in our communities and schools. It’s time for people to step up and be part of the solution. We look forward to hearing your ideas and further engaging our community.
